Your Sugar Bear and Babysitters

Sometimes as a Sugar Bear owner, you may be need to leave for an extended period of time. Whether work calls or you just want to get away for awhile, you want to make sure your Sugar Bear will be cared for properly. How do you go about finding the right babysitter? There are a few things you may want to consider when looking into this. The main thing you want is someone who has handled your Sugar Bear before. Someone who has already bonded with your friend will be the best.

You do not want to leave your Sugar Bear in an empty house for too long. Sugar Bears will get really lonely and depressed really quick. They get adjusted to the active environment around them, so if the environment goes completely silent, it might put your Sugar Bear into a shock. Instead of leaving your Sugar Bear home alone, only to have a person come over for a few minutes just to feed him, you should actually take your Sugar Bear to the babysitter's house. Their cages are pretty mobile. This way, your Sugar Bear will still have people walking around and be in an active environment.

Your Sugar Bear will take much better to someone he has already bonded with. Even though you are gone, your Sugar Bear is still going to want to come out and play. Being with a bonded friend will make this transition a lot easier. You do not want to have a person go through the hassle of bonding, especially if your babysitter has never owned a Sugar Bear. This would make a babysitter very uncomfortable. You want to be sure you leave your Sugar Bear with enough food for the duration of your trip. Your Sugar Bear would also appreciate it if you brought some familiar toys from home too. If you follow these steps, your will be able to have a worry free trip knowing your friend is being properly taken care of.
