Why You Need Bonding With Your Pocket Sugar Bears

Pocket Sugar Bears are much like any other creature. They require lots of love, understanding and attention. This is typically called bonding. Bonding is integral in maintaining a healthy lifestyle for your Sugar Bear. The Sugar Bear is notoriously shy in the beginning, but as they bond with you, their shy exterior will fade away to reveal the fun and playful side.

Bonding with your Sugar Bear is not an easy task as these little pocket pets are creatures of habit. When they are taken from one habitat to another, their system will be shocked. Gradually though, as they become more comfortable, you will see a change.

The first six weeks of owning your Sugar Bear is the most important time to bond with your Sugar Bear. The reason for this is due to the fact that he will need something familiar to take hold of. You will need to hold him, play with him and feed him from your hand to allow him to get used to you. Understand though that bonding with your Sugar Bear will not happen overnight and will take time. But as the bonding process proceeds, you will see that your Sugar Bear will bond with other items in his surroundings such as other family pets and his habitat.

The Sugar Bear can experience many of the same emotions that people can. They can feel depression and happiness. At the beginning stage of the bonding process, you will notice that he will be a bit depressed. As you spend quality time with your Sugar Bear, the depression will slip away and will be replaced with happiness. At this stage, you will know that you are doing right by him.
